Special Abilities
The Sheep Dragon Hatchling has the following special abilities:
Cloud Walker. The dragon can treat any cloud, fog, or mist as solid ground, allowing it to move and rest upon the sky itself.
Storm Veil. When the dragon is within heavy clouds or magical mist, it has resistance to all damage except force, psychic, and radiant.
Actions
The Sheep Dragon Hatchling can make the following actions:
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage.
Woolen Bump. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Breath Weapons (Recharge 5-6)
The Sheep Dragon Hatchling uses one of the following breath weapons:
Sleepy Puff. The dragon exhales a soft, warm mist in a 15 ft. cone. Creatures in the area must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or fall asleep for 1 minute. They wake up if they take damage or are shaken awake.
Static Fluff. The dragon releases a burst of static-charged wool in a 10 ft. radius. Each creature in the area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 lightning damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
Bonus Actions
The Sheep Dragon Hatchling can make the following bonus actions:
Puff Up. The dragon fluffs up its wool, imposing disadvantage on the next melee attack made against it before the start of its next turn.
Drifting Glide. The dragon momentarily catches an updraft, moving up to 20 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Reactions
Wool Shock. When hit by a melee attack, the dragon discharges static electricity. The attacker must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 lightning damage.
Sheep Dragon Hatchlings are small, fluffy, and incredibly endearing creatures, covered in soft, cloud-like wool that puffs up when they are startled. Their tiny, curved horns have yet to fully develop, and their wings are oversized for their bodies, making their flight somewhat clumsy. They spend most of their time sleeping, curled up in warm pockets of air high in the sky. Despite their harmless appearance, they possess minor control over mist and dreams, capable of lulling creatures to sleep or summoning small, protective storm clouds.
