Traits

Magic Sense. The Fara'La can sense magic within 60 feet of itself, though it can't see this magic, and only knows a rough direction. If the Fara'La spends 1 minute focusing while motionless, it can expand this sense to 3 miles above ground, and 300 feet underground.

Multiattack. The Fara'La makes 2 Bash attacks. The Fara'La can replace one of these attacks with casting a spell.

Reactions

Absorb Magic. When the Fara'La is the target or within the area of effect of a spell of 3rd level or lower, or is affected by a magical effect, it may absorb the spell or effect into it's antlers, causing the spell of effect to have no affect against it or creatures of it's choice within 5 feet of it. Should the absorbed magic deal damage, the Fara'La's next Bash attack or Eldritch Blast spell deal and an additional 2d6 of the same damage type the absorbed magic would have done.

Fara'La are deer like fey who are born in the dream Yard, one of the planes closest to the Fey Garden. They are deer like creatures large as a horse or a moose with horns that twist and twain like notted branches of a tree. These antlers are highly receptive and conductive to arcane and elemental magic, and as such they are prized bases for wand and staff creation. Their fur is a dusty brown with fades to blues and purples throughout. Fara'La are said to be guardians and watchers of those who dream created originally by Fara'Halai to guiding the lost through nightmares, especially nightmares caused by devils, demons, agents of the Demi-God and Arch Demon, Moso Kikaku, and any other unnatural dream or nightmare.
