A magically inclined turned may use the following spells:
Amphibious. The turned can breathe air and water.
Sense Magic. The turned senses magic within 120 feet of it at will. This trait otherwise works like the detect magic spell but isn’t itself magical.
Actions
Multiattack. The turned makes two attacks. One with a pincer and one with a weapon or spell.
Pincer. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (3d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Usual Tactics
The creature is somewhat intelligent and will adapt its strategy to fit the fight.
If necessary, the creature will retreat and call in reinforcements. If there allies, it will try to set up a flanking.
Spellcasters will heavily utilize cover.
As soon as it takes effect, the person is transformed into a crustacean - humanoid hybrid. Heavily plated with chitin and resistant to all non-magical damage types.
They retain their memories, intellect and personality. The exact type of transformation and statblock depends on the person ingesting the concoction.
