Stacks of spiritual assault: Spirits of darkness attach to enemies that Cain attacks. These spirits attach before the Additional Damage ability triggers
Additional Damage: Every time Cain hits with a weapon attack, each person affected by a spirit suffers 3 Psychic Damage for each spirit attached.
Harder to Hit: Any person affected by a spirit suffers a -1 to hit for each spirit attached. These only affect attack rolls against Cain.
Call to the Kindred: At the start of Cain's Turn, each character who has one or more spirits attached gains an additional spirit attached to them.   These spirits leave any person who is knocked unconscious.
They also can be knocked away by a player using an action in melee, or by being attacked at AC 15
