Thanks to extensive practice with bows, you gain the following benefits:

Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
When you take the Attack action to attack with a bow, you can take a bonus action on that round to make an additional attack with the same weapon.
