The Marvelous Circus of Joy and Magic has now been traveling the continent for twenty years under the supervision of Ringmaster Renault. While performers have come and gone, the circus never lost its charm and, as such, maintained its reputation. Beloved by children and adults alike, it managed to cement its place in the Nerisean landscape.
  Avery Belliver, the third prince of the kingdom of Avivea, has a strained relationship with his parents, who resent him for not being as talented as his siblings. No matter how hard he tries, he can never seem to match what they were capable of at his age. Despite their best efforts, his brothers and sister cannot make the castle halls feel like home to him.
  Desperate for a change of atmosphere, the young prince escapes the castle and makes his way to the Marvelous Circus of Joy and Magic, where he accidentally becomes entangled in their web of deadly mystery. What direction could his future now take?
