Homebrew, Ravenloft: Denizens of Darkness (3.5e)
The falasìth is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 11, +3 to hit with spell attacks). The falasìth has the following sorcerer spells prepared:
Shapechanger. The falasìth can use its action to polymorph into a wasp, or back into its true form, which is fey. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying merges into the wasp form. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Sneak Attack. Once per turn, the falasìth can deal an extra 10 (3d6) damage to one creature it hits with an attack if it has advantage on the attack roll, or if another enemy of the target is within 5' of it, that enemy isn't incapacitated, and the falasìth doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Sunlight Hypersensitivity. The falasìth takes 2 (1d4) radiant damage when it starts its turn in sunlight. While in sunlight, it has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.
Dagger (Fey Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 6 piercing damage. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, the target can repeat the saving throw to end the condition.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 6 piercing damage. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, the target can repeat the saving throw to end the condition.
Evil Grin (1/Day). The falasìth contorts its features into a distorted grin & opens its mouth unnaturally wide. Any creature that can see the falasìth must succeed on on a DC 11 Charisma saving throw or drop whatever it is holding & be frightened of the falasìth for 1 minute. If frightened creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn't have line of sight of the falasìth, the creature can repeat the saving throw to end the condition.
Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker that the falasìth can see hits it with an attack, it can halve the attack's damage.
