The Gateway Protector is a towering, shadowy sentinel conjured from the obelisk itself. Its body is a mass of shifting darkness and jagged obsidian, its eyes glowing with an unholy light. A talisman of dark silver, pulsing with ancient power, is visible within its chest, linking it to the cursed land of Mordent. As it moves, the very air seems to tremble, and the whispers of lost souls echo around it, heralding its relentless fury.
